Introducing Jesse Unke

Jesse Unke is an accomplished engineering and construction executive known for his leadership rooted in emotional intelligence and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. With expertise in strategic planning, finance, and project management, Jesse excels at setting and achieving business goals in alignment with organizational strategy. Unke is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP) and holds multiple other professional designations, including P.Eng., LEED AP, and CCIP. Jesse's leadership is characterized by his ability to develop and empower high-performing teams, foster a healthy and inclusive work environment, and drive innovation in sustainable design and construction. He is actively involved in the engineering community, having held various leadership positions and received numerous accolades, including the 40 under 40 in Canadian Construction and Engineers Canada's 30 by 30 EDI Champion. This in-person event will bring together students and professionals from the MEL and MHLP programs, as well as any faculty, staff, or students within the Faculty of Applied Science.
